Eric Dachs, CEO/President

As Founder and CEO/President of PIX System, LLC, Eric oversees all company operations, product design, and business development. Before developing the PIX application, Eric worked as a Sound Designer and Editor in the film industry for over 8 years on such films as The Sixth Sense, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Chocolat, Autumn in New York, Ambush and Panic Room.

Eric is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a BA in Theater.

Alex Duff, Executive Vice President

Alex is responsible for Engineering, Finance, HR, Network Infrastructure, Legal, QA & General Administration matters, in addition to overall company strategy. Alex is also a Board Member of OnAir, N.V., a Geneva-based company that is the leading provider of inflight passenger data and voice services on commercial aircrafts.

From 2003 to 2005, Alex was CFO of Tenzing Communications, a Seattle-based software company that was the leading provider of inflight email and SMS, and was acquired by OnAir in Feb 2005.

Prior to Tenzing, Alex was a Vice President at Fremont Communications, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, and an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co., where he was a member of the firm’s corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions practices.

A graduate of Duke University with an A.B. in History, Alex is also a CFA charterholder.

Larry Schalit, Senior Vice President

Larry oversees the planning, implementation and support of PIX’s software products. He has over 20 years of experience in the film, television, and music industries in various positions including Sound Engineer, Mixer, and Producer. Larry has worked as a Sound Editor or Supervising Sound Editor on such films as The Talented Mr. Ripely, K-19: The Widowmaker, Office Space, Fight Club, Envy, Autumn in New York, and many more.

Larry has been featured in articles for Mix, Post, & Digital Cinema magazines, and has written for the Editors Guild magazine.

Craig Wood, Vice President of Engineering

Craig supervises the engineering department at PIX. He oversees all development, coding, and improvements to PIX Project, PIX’s primary software application.

Craig has over 10 years of professional experience in the computer and technology sector. Before coming to PIX, Craig was the lead engineer at Sparkart, LLC, an Internet software company located in Emeryville, CA. As the chief software architect, Craig designed scalable systems powering over 100 diverse websites for millions of users. He also designed content management, e-commerce, and analytics systems used by major record labels for multi-platinum, Grammy award winning artists.

Craig has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley School of Engineering.

Steve Fontenot, QA Manager / Supervisor

Steve has been working in the software development industry for over
17 years during which he has managed quality assurance, release engineering, research and development, and certification teams. He has worked for larger, established companies such as Borland International, Inc., Novell, Inc., Cisco Systems, Inc., and Agile Software Corporation and has managed co-development efforts with WordPerfect Corporation, Corel Corporation, and Microsoft Corporation. Steve also has experience in start-up environments with Synchron Networks, Inc., Cranite Systems, Inc., and Sticky, Inc. He has a long history of delivering quality products in the wireless, networking, security, and business application arenas.

Steve holds a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from UC Santa Cruz and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Before moving to the software development industry, Steve was an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical industry.
