As a Project Manager at PIX, you will report to the Director of Product Management, and have the responsibility of planning the development process and seeing that it is completed successfully within each project’s given deadline. You will manage a variety of projects, including software launches, hardware roll-outs along with other high priority endeavors within the organization.
You will need excellent management skills to coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders within PIX as well as clients with the goal of creating visibility, harmony and accountability across the team.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Meeting Notes (attendees, items discussed, what changed, blockers, next steps, and action items)
Prepare and present various project reports on a regular basis to the PIX Executive Team (VPs and Directors) as well as others as needed within the organization.
Constantly evaluate whether individuals, teams, and clients are working efficiently and meeting their goals, and take corrective actions if they are not.
Keep an accurate risk tracking document with an associated mitigation plan.
Manage scope creep through change orders, phased delivery or other methods.
Work with key stakeholders to ensure changes are understood and approved.
Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project.
Sets and manages client, third party and vendor expectations with regards to dates and deliverables.

Previous media industry experience e.g. working on movie or at a studio is ideal but not required
Technical knowledge of cloud and mobile computing, database and application security preferred
3 - 5+ years of software project management experience with at least 2 years experience in a client facing role
