Business development coordinator

PIX System, a growing San Francisco-based company, is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Business Development Coordinator. Our industry leading collaboration products are used by Oscar winning directors, editors, major Hollywood studios, television networks, and production companies.
The Business Development Coordinator is a key position within the rapidly growing Client Team. This role will be responsible for supporting business development-related activities as we continue to expand our clientele and service offerings. In addition to supporting senior members of the BD team, the ideal candidate will gain an understanding of the world in which PIX operates, be able to see adjacent opportunities and contribute to the company’s continuing success.
This is not a typical sales job. PIX is a highly collaborative, team-based environment and this role will interface with colleagues in Account Management, F&A, Product, Support and more. A high performing candidate will find ample opportunity for growth.
Triage incoming sales calls and emails, providing first response or escalating as needed.
Management of sales and business development information in Salesforce:
Make sure all inquiries are documented as Leads.
Make sure all delegated sales calls/emails are documented in Salesforce.
Make sure Opportunities and Accounts are always up to date. Follow up with the PIX BD team to make sure meeting notes are captured and next steps are current.
Regularly sweep Tasks, Leads and Opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and progress.
Maintain the shared client meeting calendar and associated tracking documents.
Working with Marketing and Account Management, own and organize the “inventory” of PIX demo materials and slide decks.
Stage materials and resources for live product demos structured around a variety of client types and use cases.
Prepare documentation and handle scheduling for department meeting.
Assist with various business development projects such as preparing slide decks, researching opportunities and modeling proposal terms.
Assist with research and tracking of industry events and conferences.
Create custom service quotes for Account Management.
Stay abreast of upcoming projects and news that may impact our business and relationships with key clients.
Participate in demos and sales meetings as appropriate.
Become a PIX expert. The better you know the product and service the more effective you can be in this role.
5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience with the media/entertainment industry is a plus.
Experience with SaaS products is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with focus on building relationships.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Impeccable written and oral communication skills. You will be interacting with key internal and external parties and need to present information accurately and professionally.
Detailed, organized, and able to manage simultaneous projects and shifting priorities.
Discretion and professionalism in dealing with confidential information and client personnel.
Team player- ready to collaborate across various departments to get things done.
Comfortable with Mac and Windows.
High level of proficiency with Salesforce
High level of proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint/Keynote, Google apps.
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphics software is a plus.
